Frequently Asked Questions about Our Summer Camps
Find answers to your questions or contact us for more info!
What age groups are the camps for?
Our camps cater to Grade 3 and up. Camp age ranges vary widely by topic. Read camp descriptions for more detail.
Who are the camp instructors?
Some are university professors, some are public school teachers, and some are education majors. All have public school teacher clearances.
Why does the tuition for the camps vary?
Some camps utilize consumable materials. Others have a take-home component such as a robot or product.
Is there lunch supervision?
Yes. As a convenience to parents of campers who are taking a morning and afternoon camp you can register your kids for supervised lunch hour. We will watch the children in our lounge area and ensure that they make it to the afternoon camp. We do not provide food, but we offer the use of a refrigerator, toaster oven and microwave for packed lunches.
Do you offer break time?
Most camps take about a 10 or 15 minute break at the mid-point for snacks. During break we typically serve some snacks and soda. Those with allergies to specific foods like peanuts or peanut oil are encouraged to bring an alternative snack. We often have some fruit chews as an alternative as well.
