Ready to grow fresh plants using fish? In this camp we will learn about and build an aquaponics system. Aquaponics is the use of fish waste to grow plants in a soil-less solution. Some of the topics we will cover include the basics of fish and plant life, the physics of water, and wetland ecosystems. Participants will bring home a functional aquaponics system (including live goldfish) and will be prepared to grow fresh plants for their family. The system will require one power outlet.
