Become the star of your own YouTube channel as you learn the skills to become a YouTube sensation. In this beginner level course designed for first time video makers, campers will go from being YouTube viewers to YouTube creators. Students will explore and create a wide range of different video styles such as DIYs, parodies, reviews, screencasts, and “Let’s Play.” Campers will create custom thumbnails and channel graphics. Campers will learn the fundamental skills and techniques of video recording, editing, lighting, screen capture, special effects, and audio production. Participants will leave camp with several published videos and subscribers. If available, recording devices such as a GoPro or other mobile device may be helpful.
